M-Safi partners in Mombasa County cleanup for a healthier coastline

M-Safi recently joined hands with Mombasa County officials and community volunteers in a large-scale cleanup exercise aimed at restoring the beauty and hygiene of public spaces along the coast. As part of our commitment to environmental stewardship, the initiative focused on high-traffic areas including beaches, marketplaces, roadsides, and residential zones affected by poor waste disposal.

Our team provided expert waste collection, bin support, and sorting services throughout the exercise, ensuring that recyclable, organic, and hazardous waste were properly separated and safely transported. In addition, we took the opportunity to engage with the public—educating residents on the importance of waste segregation and the long-term impact of maintaining a clean, healthy environment.

This effort was more than a cleanup—it was a call to action. Mombasa, known for its cultural heritage and tourism appeal, deserves clean spaces that reflect its vibrant identity. We're proud to have contributed to this initiative and to support a county that continues to lead the way in community-driven environmental action.

M-Safi will continue to collaborate with Mombasa and other counties to advance a cleaner, greener Kenya—one community at a time.
